Reminder: As we continue preparing for the state phase‑out of 14(c) in December 2029, we are inviting the public to attend one of two informational meetings tomorrow, June 24, at 1:00 p.m. or 5:00 p.m at Self Help.

We’ll review what this change means, discuss potential service options, and gather feedback from families, guardians, and community partners.

Please keep in mind that these sessions are intended to help everyone understand our next steps as we transition away from 14(c). While we recognize that this change brings many emotions, the focus of these meetings will be on planning and identifying solutions rather than revisiting the state’s decision.

Self Help will continue to provide services to individuals. We are not going anywhere.

Brent was working on a job that was close to being complete. When production management was checking on it he stated he would have it done by the end of the day so it could be shipped. Brent had it completed before it was time to quit for the day. Fabulous job!

April's GOAT goes to......SHAY F.!
Shay was nominated by 4 staff throughout the building. He is being recognized for his production as he does amazing while working in the Allied Locke area on his own. Shay's complete work is fantastic and he stays busy needing minimal to no prompting to stay on task and keeps his workstation clean.

We are proud to see Shay's growth with production! He deserves the GOAT award!! Keep up the amazing work. Shay, you are an inspiration to others!

Our March GOAT is....Donna S.! She was nominated by 4 staff for always helping peers and staff and having a positive attitude. She is always willing to assist anyone in need of help. She is pleasant with staff and peers and does a great job wiping down the tables for the cleaning crew.
