Our September 2026 G.O.A.T award goes to..... Dakota M.!

Dakota joined the workshop crew a couple of months ago and has succeeded tremendously. She has become a wonderful addition to the cleaning crew and continues to do an excellent job with both cleaning and production tasks. Dakota is a quick learner who picks up new job duties with ease, follows directions exceptionally well, and is always willing to learn new tasks and help wherever needed. She consistently exceeds expectations and approaches her work with a positive attitude. Dakota also enjoys participating in activities and does a great job engaging with her peers. We are very proud of the progress she has made and look forward to seeing her continue to grow and succeed. Great job, Dakota! Keep up the excellent work!

Rock River Valley Self Help Enterprises regrets to inform the Sterling Community that, due to the fire that occurred at our recycling facility on August 7, we must discontinue recycling services for the unforeseeable future. This difficult decision comes after extensive damage to the building and equipment, leaving us unable to safely continue operations. We appreciate the community's understanding and will provide updates as more information becomes available. Our community day service operation is full operational.

No individuals receiving services worked in the recycling building and all individuals who were receiving services will continue receiving services. This will not disrupt the individuals in anyway.

If you have any questions, please feel free to call the office.
