Havel Volunteer League The HVL is a dedicated group of parents and Havel Elementary staff who meet to discuss ways to enhance the educational process at Havel Elementary.

The Havel Volunteer League or "HVL" is the Havel Elementary parent/teacher organization. We are a friendly, dedicated group of parents who meet to discuss ways to enhance the educational process at Havel Elementary. We support the teachers and our children by purchasing classroom supplies, helping fund field trips and assemblies, and sponsoring many family fun events. While our board is made up of

five members, our "league" is filled by every dedicated parent who volunteer their time to see that our children and teachers get what they need and deserve.

❤️🚧Flat Hawk is kicking off summer in a BIG way!

We spotted him at the Havel groundbreaking, checking out the dirt and getting ready for all the exciting changes ahead. Just like our school community, Hawk is preparing for a brand-new adventure as we make the move to Havel at Rose Kidd next year!

Now that he's officially started his summer, Hawk can't wait to see where YOUR adventures take him. 🍦❤️ HVL was honored to be part of Havel's groundbreaking ceremony this week!

As we say goodbye to a building filled with so many special memories, we're also excited for all that lies ahead. It was wonderful to celebrate this milestone with our students, families, staff, and community.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for ice cream sundaes after the ceremony. Seeing families come together to celebrate Havel's next chapter made this event extra special. Here's to honoring our past while looking forward to a bright future!✨Havel Elementary School

🧱🏆After an EPIC week of building, collecting, and a few well-placed sabotages...we have a winner -- 3RD GRADE BUILT THEIR WAY TO VICTORY! 🥇

For most of the race, 2nd Grade held onto the top spot like true Master Builders 👑🧱. But in the final stretch, a surprise wave of dimes & nickels came crashing down on their build! 😱💰💥 In the end, the top teams were separated by only a small stack of bricks, making this one of the closest Coin Races we've ever seen! Thank you to every student, family, and teacher who helped make this LEGO Coin Race AWESOME. We hope you had as much fun building, sabotaging, and competing as we did! 🧱🪙✨
