The HVL is a dedicated group of parents and Havel Elementary staff who meet to discuss ways to enhance the educational process at Havel Elementary.

The Havel Volunteer League or "HVL" is the Havel Elementary parent/teacher organization. We are a friendly, dedicated group of parents who meet to discuss ways to enhance the educational process at Havel Elementary. We support the teachers and our children by purchasing classroom supplies, helping fund field trips and assemblies, and sponsoring many family fun events. While our board is made up of five members, our "league" is filled by every dedicated parent who volunteer their time to see that our children and teachers get what they need and deserve.

🚲We closed down the parking lots and let the kids take over on their wheels! It was so great to see so many Havel students and their families come out for a fun night of riding, spending time together, and enjoying a safe place to bike! ❤️

A special thank you to Mrs. Langlois for joining us, sharing her bikes with the kids, and bringing the tunes! 🎶 We love having our teachers come out and support our Havel families!

And a BIG thank you to Officer Matty from Sterling Heights Police Department for joining us to share bike safety tips, hand out special badges, and connect with our young riders! 🚓👮

Thank you to everyone who came out and made the night such a success! We had a blast and can’t wait to do it again in the spring! 🚲☀️

🚲🎉 Bike Rodeo is TONIGHT!

Grab your bikes, helmets & the whole family and join us for a fun night with Havel friends! 🚗 Parking: please park in the surrounding neighborhood, as the school parking lots will be blocked off so kids can safely ride around and have fun!

Remember: a parent or guardian must remain with their child for the entire event and is responsible for their supervision. Havel will be closed during the event, so there will be no access to the school building or restrooms.

We can't wait to see everyone there! 🚴‍♀️
