This is a Caring Mothers moment that truly warmed my heart. After I returned from out of town, later that evening I received a call that a homeless young lady was at the beauty supply store, worried she might miss her prom that night because she didn't have a dress. I immediately sprang into action and drove from Florissant to St Louis City with an arm full of dresses that I had in the back of my car. She tried on a couple of them right in the store and decided on the black one. The young lady who did eyebrows in the store kindly did her eyebrows and makeup for free. LadyYolonda Yogi Yancie generously purchased accessories and nails, and a former coworker walked in and jumped right in, assisting and purchasing a matching clutch for her. It's a beautiful reminder that it takes a village, and we made it happenππΎππΎππΎ. After 17 years, this is why my mission will continue to be there for our youth. I thank each and every one of those who have & continue to donate dresses, shoes, jewelry, and clutches for these young ladies. When you're blessed, be a blessing to others.
