On May 16th, a devastating tornado shook our beloved North St. Louis City, tearing through neighborhoods just blocks from where we stand today. That storm left a mark on our community that many of us still carry.

When we chose May 16th as our first TCDC Community Beautification Day of 2026, it was intentional and purposeful. It was our way of saying: this community is still here. We are still standing, and we are only getting stronger.

This Saturday we are hitting the streets surrounding 3000 Prairie Ave. to clean, restore, and pour beauty back into the neighborhood we love. And we are doing it on a day that is also nationally recognized as Do Something Good for Your Neighbor Day 🌟, because that is exactly what this is.

📅 Saturday, May 16, 2026 ⏰ 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM 📍 The Hub | 3000 Prairie Ave., St. Louis, MO 63107

If you signed up, we cannot wait to see you Saturday! If you did not, it is not too late to reach out and join us!

Our Beautification Days kickoff is this Saturday at 10:00 AM! This is a great opportunity to give back to the community, connect with neighbors, and help keep our neighborhoods clean and welcoming.

As we approach the anniversary of the May 16th tornado, this effort is also a reminder of the strength and resilience of our community. By coming together to clean up litter, refresh public spaces, and support one another, we continue the work of rebuilding and showing pride in our neighborhoods.

We would love to see you there as we work together to make a positive impact!
