September was another month of growth, connection, and confidence at Girls Glory.
Earlier this month, we hosted one of our hair braiding events, creating an opportunity for children to receive a fresh hairstyle while experiencing encouragement, patience, and a safe space to be themselves.
One of the most meaningful moments this month came when one of our girls returned for another service. During her previous visit, sitting still for her hair service was a challenge. This time, she sat through it with ZERO tears!
To some, that may seem like a small moment. To us, it was a HUGE milestone.
It showed growth. It showed developing patience. And most importantly, it showed progress for both her and her parents. These are the moments we celebrate because they remind us that the impact of Girls Glory goes beyond the hairstyle.
Every smile, every accomplishment, every moment of confidence, and every little step forward matters.
We are grateful to our volunteers, supporters, parents, and everyone who continues to help us create these experiences for our youth.
