August Back-to-School 🩷🎒💫

Here are some pictures from our Girls Glory Back-to-School event! 🩷

This is the whole reason we started Girls Glory. We wanted to help as many boys and girls as possible go back to school feeling confident, beautiful, and ready to take on the year with their hair done! ✨

Unfortunately, many young people experience bullying, especially during those first few weeks of school, because of the way they look. We believe that something as simple as having your hair done can help a child walk into that classroom with a little more confidence and a bigger smile. 💕

That’s why Girls Glory is here—to help prevent bullying, boost self-esteem, and remind our young people that they matter.

Because we know they are our future, and we want them to know their worth starts with believing in themselves. 💜

We hosted our first ever Fair fundraiser for Girls Glory on the first Friday of the Fair and it was such a fun and, joyful night! 🩷✨

We partnered with the Nelson Center and spent the evening at the Coors Beer Tent, surrounded by laughter, community, and so many generous hearts. These amazing ladies came together to work the bar, serve the crowd, and help us raise funds for more supplies and expanded programming. 🍻🩷

We are FOREVER grateful for every woman who showed up, volunteered, laughed with us, worked hard, and supported our mission. Your kindness and dedication made the evening truly special. You ladies ROCK! 🩷

Our back to school bags. Every year we give the participants a goodie bag with hair supplies. This year was bonnet, edge brush/ comb combo, fidget, squishy, jewelry and snacks!

Our July Girls Glory event was filled with love, laughter, and purpose. We may have had 10 participants, but to us, that’s 10 lives we had the opportunity to encourage, uplift, and remind that they are beautiful, valued, and worthy.

Every child who walks through our doors matters. Every braid, every smile, every conversation, and every moment of confidence we help build is a blessing.

We are creating a safe space where young people can grow in confidence, character, and self-worth.

We can’t wait to see everyone at our next event August 15 as we continue to make a difference, one braid at a time. 🩷🤍
