Reminder!!! Our regular monthly meeting is tonight. Dinner at 6 with meeting starting at 7. We will be taking nominations for 1 trustee and a treasurer position, also we will be voting on wage distributions for our new Heavy and Highway contract.

Local 270 “Carpenters In Action” volunteered their time to build this large wheel chair ramp for a local elderly disabled woman. Big thanks to Matt Hill, Jon Tyler, Dave Colonius, Danny Wood, Jesse Franklin, John Andrew, Demetrios Wilson, Sajuan Luper, Michael Emerson, and Octavius Wright! We are lucky to have people such as these in our Local.

We need your help!! The Local 270 CIA (Carpenters In Action) are looking for some volunteers to help with a large wheel chair ramp installation on the north end of Springfield this weekend. This project is for an elderly woman who is disabled. Please check the comments for additional ldetails!

We had some new members take their obligations tonight at our monthly meeting. Welcome aboard brothers. It feels great to be part of an organization such as this. The next meeting will be Monday May 11th. We look forward to seeing you all there!
