Shopping for your family? A little extra can go a long way.
Summer is one of the hardest times to keep ECHO’s shelves stocked. Food drives slow down, but the need does not.
This week, please consider adding a little extra rice and beans or other needed items to your cart and drop them off at participating Giant stores (below). Full list of food items needed at https://www.echo-inc.org/donate/donate-goods/ .
Add one if you can. Share this post if you can’t. Small acts of kindness can help carry our neighbors through the summer. 💙
Participating Giants:
• Cardinal Forest Giant, 8320 Old Keene Mill Road, Springfield
• Huntsman Giant, 7501 Huntsman Blvd., Springfield
• Saratoga Giant, 8074 Rolling Road, Springfield
• Springfield Plaza, 6364A Springfield Plaza, Springfield
• Crossroads Giant, 3480 S. Jefferson Street, Falls Church
• Kings Park Shopping Center Giant, 8970 Burke Lake Road, Springfield

Strengthen our community. 💙
ECHO is looking for volunteers to help neighbors in meaningful, hands-on ways—from sorting clothing and housewares donations to working directly with clients.
We are especially in need of Spanish-speaking volunteers who can help welcome clients, understand their needs, and connect them with support. Tuesday evening availability is particularly helpful.
Whether you have a few hours to give or a skill that could serve others, your time can make a real difference.

Foster care placements can happen any time—day or night—without much warning. Foster parents don’t have much time to gather the essential supplies a child will need.
