Access, connection, and self-determination look different for everyone. The right services should honor that.

Viability’s Deaf & Hard of Hearing Independent Living Services program provides peer-to-peer support for Deaf, late-deafened, and hard of hearing adults in Western Massachusetts and the Berkshires.

The program is led by professionals who are Deaf, late-deafened, or hard of hearing, and supports people with skills and resources related to self-advocacy, communication access, assistive technology, financial literacy, transportation, housing, wellness, employment, and community connection.

Individuals may be referred by another agency or contact Viability directly to learn more.

Viability is hiring a full-time Bi-Lingual Employment & Training Specialist in Bloomfield, CT.

Fluent in Spanish and English? If you have people skills, bilingual fluency, and experience helping others, this may be a stronger fit than you think.

In this role, you’ll help adults living with mental health conditions, and those navigating both mental health and substance use challenges, build skills, connect with employers, and work toward meaningful employment.

You’ll receive paid training, generous paid time off, 11 paid holidays, health, dental and vision insurance, tuition reimbursement, and support from a team that understands the work.

Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm.

Only 22% of family caregivers in the U.S. have received formal training, even though more than half now perform complex medical tasks.

Viability’s Adult Family Care program helps fill that gap with training, nursing support, and a care manager who stays involved.

For eligible Massachusetts caregivers who live with the person they support, AFC may also include a tax-free monthly payment of up to $1,650.
