Movement supports more than your body, it also supports your brain!

Regular physical activity increases blood flow to the brain, helping to support memory, focus, and overall cognitive function.

You don’t need a full workout to make an impact. A walk, a stretch, or even a few extra steps throughout the day can add up.

This week we observe National Men’s Health Week. Care doesn’t happen alone. Men’s health is shaped by relationships—partners, families, caregivers, friends, and communities at every stage of life. When men are supported via connection, education, and shared advocacy, they seek care, stay engaged, and live healthier, longer lives. So, whether you are a man or just love them, take some time this week to celebrate men and keeping them in tip-top shape!

Every year countries around the world celebrate World Blood Donor Day (WBDD). The event serves to raise awareness of the need for safe blood and blood products and to thank voluntary, unpaid blood donors for their life-saving gifts of blood.

A blood service that gives patients access to safe blood and blood products in sufficient quantity is a key component of an effective health system. Find out where you can donate blood: Illinois Donation Center Locations - ImpactLife

Did you know that the brain does some of its most important work while you sleep?

During sleep, the brain processes information, consolidates memory, and clears waste that builds up throughout the day.

Prioritizing sleep isn’t just about energy; it’s a key part of long-term brain health.
Start small: aim for 7–8 hours of sleep or go to bed 30 minutes earlier tonight.
