Graduations and Birthdays are great occasions for Mylar Balloons but they can be bad for our power distribution equipment. Please remember to dispose of them properly. A balloon recently created an outage for 63 members after getting into contact with a transformer. Let's celebrate safely!

Ninety years after the Rural Electrification Act was signed into law, electric cooperatives are still delivering on its promise to power and empower rural America.

To this day, the longstanding partnership between electric co-ops and U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Utilities Service continues to be essential as co-ops work to power rural communities, expand broadband access and build a better tomorrow.

On May 20, we celebrate 90 years of cooperative commitment to serving rural America.
