AIEC This page strives to represent the values and practices that the Association of Illinois Electric Cooperatives.

Established in 1942, the Association of Illinois Electric Cooperatives (AIEC) has helped Illinois co-ops work together for more than 80 years to serve the thousands of individual member-owners of Illinois Electric and telephone cooperatives Established in 1942, the Association of Illinois Electric Cooperatives (AIEC) is the service organization for member electric and telephone cooperatives for the state of Illinois and their associate organizations. We welcome and encourage your comments and engagement with our page. Through interacting with this page and based on the cooperative spirit, we will remove the following:

⚡ Cooperation Among Cooperatives ⚡

Rolling out to lend a helping hand! Four linemen from Coles-Moultrie Electric Cooperative headed south to assist with power restoration efforts following Hurricane Isaias.

One of the greatest strengths of the cooperative difference is mutual aid and when disaster strikes, electric cooperatives come together, sharing crews, equipment, and resources to help neighboring communities get the lights back on safely and efficiently. It’s co-ops helping co-ops and neighbors helping neighbors! 💚

We are proud of our linemen for answering the call and stepping up to help those in need. Please keep the crews, their families, and everyone impacted by the storm in your thoughts and prayers.
