SciTech Band Public page for "The Pride of Springfield," from the High School of Science and Technology

The SciTech Band, known to Springfield residents as "The Pride of Springfield", is one of Massachusetts' top music programs. Growing from 20 students to 500 since its start in January 2007, band students have performed at hundreds of events in the region. Together they prove that nothing is impossible when students take ownership in the classroom. Our purpose is to create an environment through mu

sic that will challenge, motivate, and empower students to strive for excellence in all facets of their lives. We are dedicated to advancing the principles of leadership, critical thinking, and creativity, all of which become evident through student-centered music learning.
