It is our goal to help families suffering from pediatric emergencies by assisting financially in ways local and national foundations, charities and insurance agencies won’t cover. We also will work with the family to ensure they are utilizing all resources available to them in their time of tragedy and trauma. Since the inception of the HOPE Foundation, we have received requests to offset costs fo
r rent and mortgage payments, medical travel, help towards vehicle repair to ensure safe travel to and from doctor appointments, help to pay partial funeral expenses and many others. There are so many unforeseen expenses that come with pediatric emergencies. HOPE bridges the gap and makes a difference in the lives of families facing a pediatric emergency. HOPE Foundation serves 22 counties in southwest Missouri, including Barry, Christian, Dade, Dallas, Dent, Douglas, Greene, Hickory, Howell, Laclede, Lawrence, Oregon, Ozark, Phelps, Polk, Pulaski, Shannon, Stone, Taney, Texas, Webster and Wright. The Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce defines these counties as being in the Springfield Economic Area and they are the counties serviced by Springfield hospitals.
