HOPE Foundation

The HOPE Foundation provides both financial and emotional support to families whose children are ill.

It is our goal to help families suffering from pediatric emergencies by assisting financially in ways local and national foundations, charities and insurance agencies won’t cover. We also will work with the family to ensure they are utilizing all resources available to them in their time of tragedy and trauma. Since the inception of the HOPE Foundation, we have received requests to offset costs fo

r rent and mortgage payments, medical travel, help towards vehicle repair to ensure safe travel to and from doctor appointments, help to pay partial funeral expenses and many others. There are so many unforeseen expenses that come with pediatric emergencies. HOPE bridges the gap and makes a difference in the lives of families facing a pediatric emergency. HOPE Foundation serves 22 counties in southwest Missouri, including Barry, Christian, Dade, Dallas, Dent, Douglas, Greene, Hickory, Howell, Laclede, Lawrence, Oregon, Ozark, Phelps, Polk, Pulaski, Shannon, Stone, Taney, Texas, Webster and Wright. The Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce defines these counties as being in the Springfield Economic Area and they are the counties serviced by Springfield hospitals.

Today we recognize Juneteenth, a day that marks the end of slavery in the United States and celebrates freedom, hope, and resilience.

At HOPE Foundation, we believe every family deserves support, opportunity, and a community that stands beside them during life’s toughest moments. As we reflect on this important day, we honor the strength of those who came before us and recommit ourselves to building a future where compassion, dignity, and hope are available to all.

Something special is happening at Ronald McDonald House of the Ozarks! We're renovating one of our House kitchens to create a welcoming space where families can cook, gather, and find comfort while their child receives medical care.
