Lord, our hearts break in this tragedy. We pray for the family and loved ones of Pierre, and ask that you would draw near to them with your peace, comfort and love. We pray for your Kingdom to come in Springfield. Father, we need You, have mercy on us.

Pierre Damas Bel, a 20-year-old Haitian Wright State student, died by su***de Monday. His family says he struggled with wearing an ankle monitor and teasing from classmates, despite having entered the U.S. legally in 2024.
