Introducing Community Champions: How Two Friends Built a Reading Revolution—a children’s book telling the story of how The Conscious Connect CDC began.

What started with two friends, a simple idea, and a love for community grew into something much bigger than we could have imagined. From those first conversations about getting books into the hands of children to the work we’re doing today, this has truly been a journey.

And to everyone who has been with us from the beginning—thank you.❤️ Whether you donated a book, volunteered, opened your doors to a literacy program, supported an event, shared our work, or simply believed in what we were building, you are part of this story.

Now, we get to share that story with a new generation of Community Champions. 📖✨
