☀️📚 We’re wrapping up the first half of our Summer Group Tutoring sessions, and we couldn’t be more proud of our students!

Throughout the summer, these dedicated learners have been working hard to strengthen their literacy skills, build confidence, and continue making progress while school is out. From practicing reading strategies to expanding vocabulary and improving comprehension, they’ve shown incredible determination and growth.

Summer learning helps keep skills sharp and prevents the “summer slide,” and our students are proving that learning can be both productive and fun. We’re excited to see all they accomplish in the second half of the season!

👏 Join us in celebrating their hard work and commitment to learning!

Many people think dyslexia can't be identified until a child learns to read—but the warning signs often appear much earlier.

If your child struggles with rhyming, learning letters, remembering sounds, or has a family history of reading difficulties, it may be worth taking a closer look.

Early identification leads to earlier intervention—and better outcomes.

If you're concerned about your child's literacy development, we're here to help.

Thank you to our current therapists who took time this week to answer questions, share their experiences, and offer valuable insight into supporting students on their literacy journey.

📚 Before Summer Ends, Get Answers.

If your child struggled with reading, spelling, writing, attention, or schoolwork this year, now is the ideal time to schedule diagnostic testing.

A comprehensive evaluation can help identify:
✅ Dyslexia
✅ Dysgraphia
✅ ADHD-related learning challenges
✅ Language-based learning difficulties
✅ Academic strengths and weaknesses

Starting the school year with a clear understanding of your child's needs allows teachers, parents, and interventionists to create a plan for success from day one.

🍎 Don't wait until report cards and frustrations return this fall.

📅 Limited testing appointments are available before school starts.

Contact Springfield Center for Dyslexia & Learning to schedule today.

🧠 **Learning Tip: Engage More Senses for Stronger Learning!**

Many students learn best when they can *see, hear, say, and touch* what they're learning. That's why multi-sensory activities are such a powerful tool for building reading and spelling skills.

Try making spelling practice more interactive by:
✨ Tracing words in sand or shaving cream
✨ Writing words with finger paint or sidewalk chalk
✨ Building words with letter tiles or magnetic letters
✨ Tapping out sounds while saying them aloud
✨ Tracing words on textured surfaces

When multiple senses work together, the brain creates stronger connections, helping students retain information and build confidence.

Small changes at home can make a big difference in your child's learning journey! 💙
