Fostering Threads is 100% volunteer-run, including our executive director. No salaries come out of your donation. Every dollar you give goes toward bundles, buying for specific requests, and building our capacity to serve more kids.

Back in the closet, and it's fuller than ever.

After our launch, the response from this community has been nothing short of incredible. Every donated bag, every dropped-off bin, every person who showed up, it's already making a difference for kids who need it most.

We're back in the closet sorting through it all, and we just want to say thank you. Truly.

A kid doesn't get a heads up before they enter foster care. It just happens. Sometimes at 2am. Sometimes with nothing but the clothes on their back.

We can't predict when that call comes in. But we can be ready for it, and that's the difference monthly donors make.

One-time gifts are amazing. But they don't keep the shelves stocked in March when nobody's thinking about foster care. Monthly gives us that.

We made a trip to Dallas this weekend to visit family and a sweet colleague from my real estate days wanted to meet up and share donations she had gathered for Fostering Threads. I was absolutely blown away by the generosity of her, her daughter, and their friends.
