Excelerate Success is a community partnership using the collective impact model to enhance community capacity to ensure that every child in Spokane County is “cared for, competent and confident – from cradle to career.” This partnership has created a shared vision of youth success; shared measurements across systems that influence educational success; mutually reinforcing activities between com

munity-based organizations and educational institutions; continuous communication; and an infrastructure to support the work. It relies upon the engagement of diverse community voices and the commitment of cross-sector community leadership. Excelerate Success began in late 2012, has great momentum and is receiving active financial and technical support from a variety of local agencies as well as national organizations that are catalyzing high-functioning collective impact networks across the country. Spokane County United Way serves as the backbone organization to support the development of this partnership.
