Last August 17–19 | Summer Camp Batch 5 💙

This batch was extra special! We partnered with SOMA and welcomed their youth group to Summer Camp for three days of serving, learning, and having fun together.

They led crafts with Project Camp at Lake Spokane Elementary for kids displaced by the Spokane fires, sorted bread at Second Harvest, explored Spokane and served with Growing Neighbors, and spent time playing games with residents at Fairview Assisted Living. Of course, we had to end the week with a little friendly competition during our scavenger hunt!

It was such a joy to see two groups of young people come together, serve others, and go for gold in compassion. 🥇

Last August 11–13 | Summer Camp Batch 4 💙

Three days, lots of new experiences, and plenty of opportunities to serve!

Our campers got to see different sides of Spokane, from learning about Growing Neighbors and helping pick food, to sorting food and hygiene products at Spokane Valley Partners and organizing pet food at Spokane Humane Society.

They also spent time with the residents at Fairview Assisted Living for a fun game of Musical Bingo!
We love seeing each group find their own way to serve, connect, and show compassion.

Last July 28–30, Summer Camp Batch 3 💙

Our campers had another amazing few days exploring Spokane, learning about the PALS program, helping pick food with Growing Neighbors, and volunteering at Second Harvest and UGM.

They also shared lots of laughs during Musical Bingo at Fairview Assisted Living and put their teamwork to the test during our downtown scavenger hunt!

We’re so proud of this group for trying new things, serving their community, and continuing to go for gold in compassion. 💙

Work around your college schedule for approximately 10 hours a week while gaining real classroom experience, developing leadership skills, and making a meaningful impact.

You’ll work in local schools, teach students how to serve their communities, and lead hands-on service projects.

In a week when so many families have been affected by the recent Spokane wildfires, it was inspiring to see our community come together to serve. 💙

At our Summer Big Build, more than 80 volunteers packed 9,736 meals that were donated to Second Harvest to support those affected by the recent wildfires.

One of the most inspiring moments of the day was watching our Generation Alive High School Leadership Team confidently lead every packing session. From welcoming volunteers and sharing our mission to giving instructions and encouraging others to serve, these students demonstrated what it looks like to live and lead with compassion. They are a powerful reminder of why we believe in investing in the rising generation.

Thank you to Baker Tilly US and Kalin Trenchless for sponsoring this event and bringing your teams to serve, and to Uprise Brewing for generously hosting our community. Together, we made a tangible difference for neighbors in need.

Every meal packed, every volunteer who showed up, and every student who stepped forward is proof that compassion is contagious. Thank you for helping us activate young people to live with compassion and create lasting impact.
