Manzanita House is now offering assistance with establishing Family Preparedness Plans for our community - FREE OF CHARGE. This resource is created to help parents plan for the care of their child(ren) (with or without status) in the event that a parent is unable to care for their child - particularly if the parent is detained or deported.

NWIRP and partners have been advocating for an increase this legislative session to the Legal Aid for Low-Income Immigrants Program---Washington's most significant investment in providing full direct representation to individuals facing deportation proceedings or at high risk of deportation, especially established community members who are integrated into our schools, workplaces, neighborhoods, and general community fabric. Please help us reach out to members of the Senate Ways and Means Committee and House Appropriations Committee to thank them for their continued support and request an increase to the Legal Aid for Low-Income Immigrants Program.

We at Barton are sending our congratulations to Mary Stamp at the Fig Tree! We are so thankful for the Fig Tree and how Mary Stamp's vision and work inform and connect us in Spokane.

The name Mary Stamp, founder of the Fig Tree newspaper, is synonymous with religious news in the Spokane area. She has dedicated decades of her life to bringing forward ecumenical stories about houses of worship and faith leaders, doing everything from writing stories and laying out the pages.
