The Community Celebration 2026 Impact:
Hot dogs served: 3,780.
Backpacks and school supplies distributed: 4,503.
Shoes distributed: ~ 4,691.

This event is nothing without the community! Thank you to everyone who sponsored, vendored, volunteered and attended! This event was made possible by members of the community for the community!!

Free Community Celebration — Back to School Edition

New kicks. Packed backpacks. Real food. Live entertainment. On-site healthcare. Resources that matter. And yeah — slushies, because a celebration isn’t a celebration without them. 🍧

This is what showing up for our village looks like. Everything’s free. Everyone’s welcome.

As we prepare for our Community Celebration we have received over 75 calls in regard to how they can show up for the community. “Project Beauty Share” donated a pallet of personal hygiene to TWTJ. We have packaged these items into ziplock bags and they will be available for families/individuals at the event.

We can’t wait to celebrate the community with you. And again to those wanting to provide resources at the event we have reopened our vendor sign up.

We’ve received a lot of questions about the Annual Community Celebration.

Our hearts are with our Spokane Community.
As of this morning, the event is still taking place at Underhill Park on August 8, 2026. We have extended our vendor applications due to a greater need for resources.
Safety is our top priority, if the air quality worsens we will reevaluate the event status.

All informational emails will be sent to vendors today.

To kick off our Annual Community Celebration in partnership with SERA we are giving away 2 bikes before the big day!
Winners will be able to pick up their bikes the day of the event at Under hill Park taking place August 8th.
