Southington Symphonic Band

Southington Symphonic Band The Southington Symphonic Band is a community band under the direction of Jeff Shaw. The band is planning on five concerts per year.

Its members live or work in the area, some are former members or band parents of the Southington HS Blue Knights Marching Band. New members are welcome to join at the start of each concert cycle.

Looking for something musical to do during this April vacation?
Some of the SSB members also play in the Stanley Street Big Band and they will be at Kinsmen Brewing on Wednesday from 7:30 to 9:30 pm.
All ages are welcome and no cover.

The Stanley Street Big Band returns to Kinsmen Brewing Co. on Wednesday night, April 8th.
Come join us in Clark Hall at Kinsmen from 7:30 to 9:30 pm.
With it being April vacation it is not a school night so this is a great opportunity to bring the young musicians in your life. All ages are welcome and there is no cover.
Food and drink can be ordered from the bar.
