The Connecticut Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (CRID) was founded in 1971, and is one of more than 60 local chapters affiliated with the national Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, Inc.

Last Saturday at our CRID Community Meeting & Workshop, CRID President Nick Dionne and former CRID Treasurer Marissa Rivera honored 5 graduating seniors, 1 from the Interpreter Training Program (ITP) at CT State College - Northwestern and 4 ASL majors from the University of Connecticut, Storrs Campus (UConn). We’d like to congratulate them all on their accomplishments and look forward to their bright futures ahead!
