☀️ 🍷 It was a beautiful day at The Barnes Museum for this year’s w**e and b**r tasting! A HUGE thank you to Worldwide W**e & Spirits and Kinsmen Brewing Co. for generously donating the w**es and b**rs!

🍖 🧁 This event would not be complete without small plates of savory bites from Smokin with Chris. We’ll have what he’s smokin’!! And who could forget the specialty cupcakes!!

🎶 🎤 And we loved the musical stylings of Lisa Cote and her wife, Jill. Fleetwood Mac to Dolly Parton and back, they really are amazing.

🎆 🎇 And thank you to YOU, Southington, for showing up in big numbers. We always love seeing you, whether you’re back for more or here for the first time.

Cheers!

Have your voice heard! Come to the Town Council meeting on Monday, Sept. 14th at 7:00 PM to voice your support for The Barnes Museum.

It's a community gathering space for events like the Taste of Southington and the Friends of the Barnes Museum's annual w**e tasting, which is coming up on Sat. Sept. 19th at 3:00 PM.

It's a launch pad for free public programs like the many Downtown Historic Walking Tours and History Pints at Kinsmen Brewing Co..

Southington's history is worth preserving and sharing. Southington residents should please consider offering brief remarks in support of the museum at the upcoming Town Council meeting. Alternatively, comments can be emailed to the Council's members.
