Dementia caregivers, over 11 million in the U.S., face elevated risks of depression, chronic illness, and burnout, with nearly 1 in 5 reporting poor health. At The Brown Center, we believe self-care and respite are essential to sustaining both caregiver well-being and quality of care. We recently hosted a Day Off for Caregivers. From yoga and massage to creating meaningful connections with others, the day was all about support and self-care for those who love someone with dementia.

“I love the fact that I can get pampered and connect with so many others.” – Clare

Care for caregivers matters. Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the day so special!
