Join us this fall for players ages 3–18 yrs old. New age brackets are being introduced to align with the academic year, ensuring players are matched with peers of similar skill and maturity. Whether your player is just starting out or gearing up for competitive play, there's a place for everyone to learn, grow, and have a blast.

EXTRA Tryouts are coming!!

Will be hosting 3 tryout dates at South Pasadena Middle School. Players must attend at minimum 2 of the dates to be considered for a team. Every player must try out since existing players are not guaranteed a returning spot.

AYSO is transitioning to a school-year age grouping system starting in the 2026-2027 season. This change will align player birthdates with the academic calendar, allowing payers to be grouped with their school classmates.

Divisions will now be according to these birthdates-

U10: August 1, 2016 - July 31, 2017
U11: August 1, 2015 - July 31, 2016
U12: August 1, 2014 - July 31, 2015
U13: August 1, 2013 - July 31, 2014
U14: August 1, 2012 - July 31, 2013

Tryout Dates -

U10: 8:15am-9:45am
U11: 10am-11:30am
U12: 11:45am-1:15pm
U13: 1:45pm-3:15pm
U14: 3:30pm-5pm

What to bring to tryouts -
-ball
-cleats
-shin guards
-water
-generic athletic attire (current extra players should not wear the current or prior Extra uniform kit during tryouts)
-positive attitude!

Players wanting to “play-up” will need to attend the division they would like to be placed in to be considered. This is on a case-by-case basis with prior coach evaluations also being considered.

The GU10 All Star Players attended the annual Senior Night Ceremony at South Pasadena High School. We're grateful to the Varsity team for including us in the celebration of our outstanding seniors. 8 of the 9 Seniors have roots in Region 214! Congratulations class of 2026!

Everyone plays is one of the greatest pillars AYSO has! As a region, 214 makes sure this happens! The mission of the AYSO EPIC (Everyone Plays in our Community) Program is to provide athletes with disabilities the additional support they need to fully participate in a quality soccer experience. Volunteer buddies help our athletes not only participate but excel in this wonderful program. Thank you Coach Alex for coming out every Saturday morning to make sure our EPIC players are having a great time! We appreciate all the volunteers, youth and adults, that help out as well!
