✨ STEEPED IN STYLE: A Beautiful Success! ✨

The Zonta Club of Essex County is filled with immense gratitude today! Yesterday’s Steeped in Style event was an incredible celebration of community, fellowship, and purpose.

A very special thank you to our phenomenal partners, the Zonta Club of Morristown Area! 💛 Collaborating with your incredible club for this event was an absolute honor. Together, we showed the true power of Zonta fellowship, unity, and shared vision in action.

To everyone who attended, supported, and shared your vibrant energy with us, THANK YOU. Your presence is what made the day so special.

We extend a massive thank you to everyone who participated in our silent auction and purchased beautiful pieces from our scarf and jewelry tables! Your generosity directly supports our mission to empower women and serve our community.

Finally, a heartfelt thank you to the dedicated members of both clubs who contributed items, worked the tables, and managed every detail behind the scenes. This event was entirely fueled by our shared passion and teamwork.

Huge congratulations to our amazing fellow Zontian, Wincey! 🥂✨

Last weekend, we had the honor of celebrating her at the NJ Freedom Gala, where she was presented with a NJ Freedom Award by the NJ Coalition Against Human Trafficking!

This award recognizes her incredible, heartfelt dedication to raising awareness and preventing human trafficking across New Jersey. Wincey, your hard work and commitment change lives, and seeing you recognized on that stage was an absolute joy.

ZCEC member Wincey Terry-Bryant II is a recipient of the 2026 NJ Coalition Against Human Trafficking New Jersey Freedom Award. She will be celebrated at the coalition's "T-shirt Gala" on May 30. The event if part of NJCAT's World Cup ACT Weekend of Action ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which is unfortunately expected to be a magnet for trafficking. This year's series will take place partly in at the stadium in East Rutherford.

Closing out Women’s History Month with purpose, connection, and inspiration 🌹

Last week’s Bloom & Belong gathering reminded us of the power of women supporting women, and the impact we can create together.

A heartfelt thank you to Susan McCartney, Mayor of West Orange, for sharing her leadership, perspective, and commitment to progressing our communities.

We are also incredibly proud to celebrate Eve Parrott, our Zonta International Young Women in Leadership Award recipient, whose passion and vision for the future continue to inspire.

From honoring the women who shaped us to uplifting the next generation, the evening truly embodied what it means to bloom and belong.
