Two major announcements yesterday in honor of Bill Walton.

Yesterday, at Helix High School, the Bill Walton Classic was announced, a new college basketball tournament put on by Sports San Diego that will carry forward Bill’s legacy. Hearing from the leaders who are bringing the tournament to life made the moment even more impactful.

Additionally, the Bill Walton Foundation was announced, led by our own John Sarkisian and Bob Rief, as well as Lori Walton and others who are committed carrying on his legacy.

A powerful day in celebration of Bill’s lasting impact.
