et to the town of Smyrna and Rutherford County, including contributing to reading engagement in the local community via donations of books and educational materials to non-profit, community and governmental agencies. We support SPL by providing manpower when the library requests extra help around the library and by providing extra money for programs, equipment, etc. Some of the ways we raise funds are through our used book sales, Walter King Hoover Book sales, History of Rutherford County Library Book sales, Kroger Community Rewards, Giving Matters, grants, membership fees, and donations. Our used book sale is located at Smyrna Public Library and open for business every day during regular library hours. On our used book shelves, you'll find DVD's as well as books. Our adult and children used book section is located on the back wall straight back to the left of the main aisle as you walk towards the back of SPL. The prices are $1 per item or $5 per bag. Bags are available for your shopping convenience on or near our used book shelves. Thanks for shopping our used book sale and shop often because the inventory is always changing! You never know what books or DVD's will be donated and end up on the used book sale shelves! FOSL accepts clean, undamaged and bug free donations of books and DVD's for their used book sale. Donations may be dropped off in the yellow bins located in the SPL foyer to the right as you enter the library. FOSL does not accept magazines, encyclopedia or textbooks. FOSL accepts cash, check and PayPal for all transitions for our used book sales, Walter King Hoover Book Sales, membership fees, and donations.
