Our youth are our future, and the Johnston County NAACP Education Committee is proud to invest in their success.

This year, we awarded three $750 scholarships. This week we celebrate another scholarship recipient!

Congratulations on this well-deserved achievement. We can’t wait to see all you’ll accomplish! 🎓👏

Remember: North Carolina residents can pre-register to vote at age 16. Also, 17-year-olds are permitted to vote in primary elections if they will be 18 by the date of the general election.

Be a source of answers for your neighbors.

The struggle continues...until there is Liberty and Justice for All!

This year, the Johnston County NAACP proudly donated $500 in school supplies through our B.U.I.L.D. Grant funds, with a special focus on supporting high school students as they prepare for a successful school year.

As part of this effort, we also shared information with students and families about pre-registering to vote at ages 16 and 17, empowering our young people to become engaged, informed citizens before they turn 18.

A special thank you to our members who took the time to submit B.U.I.L.D. Grant proposals. Your ideas and commitment made it possible to invest these funds where they can make a meaningful difference in our community. Together, we continue to educate, empower, and uplift Johnston County.
