Thank You, Smithfield!

Wow, even the rainy weather couldn’t stop our community from coming together to support the Smithfield Food Pantry!

Thank you to Council President Tassoni and Council Member Winfield for planning and hosting a successful food drive —

Also special thank you to the Smithfield Department of Public Works (DPW), Smithfield Police Department and the Smithfield Fire Department for their generous donations and support. Your contributions truly make a difference! Additional thanks to Mike Austin and his C***r & Spice Donut Truck for giving a free donut to everyone who donated.

Thanks to all the community members who donated, the Smithfield Town Food Pantry received more than 1200 food items! Donations included pasta, sauce, peanut butter, soup, and so much more.

The Pantry Market also received $1750 in cash donations.

The need continues to grow, and in September alone, our Food Pantry served more than 230 Smithfield residents. Every donation helps us continue providing food and support to our neighbors.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this food drive such a success. Smithfield truly comes together when our neighbors need us most!
