One of our many faces of service! Joye brought joy to our meeting yesterday. Joye is a therapy dog and joins our incoming president Kristen Tucker on visits to local nursing homes. This pup’s kind demeanor brings good will wherever she goes!

Since 1990 our Club has been providing scholarships to students from Johnston County Public Schools through our partnership with the Johnston County Education Foundation. Today the 2026 scholarship recipients joined us for lunch and shared their future plans with us.

Calling all local businesses! The 3 Little Pigs Triathlon is back and we are looking for sponsors to help us build a brick house of an event! Our club installed 150 Flags honoring military and community heroes. The flags can be viewed in front of Johnston Community Collegethrough July 9. Please spend a moment this Memorial Day visiting this display. (Photos by 2nd St Photo and Video.)

We were excited to attend the final two traditional JCPS high school senior awards ceremonies at SSS and North Johnston High School!
Congratulations to all of the seniors recognized for their achievements, leadership, and hard work. We are proud to celebrate these outstanding students and wish them continued success in all that lies ahead!

We took our meeting on the road this week. Club members learned about Partnership for Children of Johnston County. While there we packaged diapers which are provided to families in need.

We had a special club celebration today! We recognized Pete Connet for his 27 years in our club and 58 years of service to Rotary International! Pete will be moving to the Western part of the state to be closer to family, but his Rotary family wanted to celebrate him! Thank you Pete for all you do!
