This is the picture that speaks a thousand words. The day that Robin met JJay. Our volunteer Gail had brought him and his sister to Gimme Shelter. It was love at first sight. His sister found her forever home and he found his with Robin and Peter. JJay became the shop mascot and boy did he take his job seriously. He never met someone whose life he didn’t touch. He sure touched all of ours. Was he rescued or did he rescue Robin and Peter and all of us? Anyone who met him knows the very obvious answer to that question. Today is a very hard and surreal day. JJay has traveled across the rainbow bridge. It is the absolute hardest day of having a fur baby as we all know. Our hearts are all so broken for Robin and Peter along with our own. Time marches on weather we want it to or not. So run over that rainbow bridge JJay and look at all that sits before you with no pain and say hi to all those that went before you and took a part of our hearts as you have done. So missed and loved. 💕
