Slater EMS is a group of volunteers certified by the State of Iowa to provide Emergency Medical Service treatment and care to the Cities of Slater and Sheldahl, along with parts of Southwest Story County Iowa and Northwest parts of Polk County Iowa.

City-Wide Cleanup Day is coming to Slater on Friday, October 23rd!

A few additional notes:

• Please do not set your trash out too far in advance.
• The Garbage Guys Iowa will be starting their route at 6:00 AM on the morning of October 24th, so anything set out on the 24th is NOT guaranteed to be picked up. Please have all your items on the curb by the end of the day on Friday, October 23rd.
• Please review the list of items the Garbage Guys will not be taking.
