As the tents come down and the last boxes are packed, we want to pause and say thank you.
To the veterans who came through — we honor you.
To the volunteers who served meals, set up chairs, packed boxes, and gave countless hours — we couldn’t have done this without you.
To the donors and community partners who provided food, clothing, and resources — you helped make Stand Down Des Moines 2025 a true success.
But our work doesn’t end here. Veterans need support year-round.
