Celebrate the 4th of July with Slater American Legion Post 260! 🇺🇸

Take a moment to stand, remove your hat, and honor the American flag as the members of Slater American Legion Post 260 proudly march through the Slater parade carrying our nation’s colors.

After the parade we also invite everyone to attend the Opening Ceremonies, at 12:00 PM at Nelson Park, where we will come together to kick off a fun and safe celebration and recognize all who have defended our freedoms.

After the ceremonies, stop by the American Legion food stand near the Slater Log Cabin and enjoy a delicious hot dog, loose meat sandwich, chips, and pie! Every purchase helps support Slater American Legion Post 260 and its mission of serving veterans and our community.

We look forward to seeing you on the 4th of July!

Please stop in for our Spring Fundraiser this weekend!

Sunday, April 26th at the Slater Station from 11 am to 1 pm! Free will donation!

We will be serving smoked pork loin, baked beans, cole slaw, rolls and a dessert!

All proceeds go back to our communities!
