This season the weather has made it very difficult to predict when the watermelons will be ready to harvest. We are finally getting some good watermelon!

Last night with the help of Prairie Ridge Church, and this morning with a group of volunteers, we were able to harvest and deliver 3,500 pounds! We delivered tomatoes, peppers, and eggplants. Thank you to all who came out last night and this morning!

If you want to volunteer, contact Tracy at 515-460-4914. Our fields are full of fresh produce!

Today's donor is Home Depot. Thank you for your generous donations. With your support, we are able to grow fresh produce for central Iowa.

We are looking for more donations to help us reach our initiatives. Since we do not sell anything, we rely on the generous donations of others.
