The Saylorville Dam Snowmobile Club is active in maintaining nearly 120 miles of snowmobile trail just north of Des Moines, spanning from Polk City to Zearing and Elkhart with a 13 mile loop around Big Creek State Park. Saylorville Dam Snowmobile Club Is comprised of over 100 members who share the passion for snowmobiling and promoting the sport through trail development, maintenance, charities, and relationships with various other organizations on local, state, and national levels.
