We want families of all ages to feel welcome and supported during the High Holy Days!

Family Services and complimentary childcare will be available during Rosh Hashanah Day I and Yom Kippur morning. Childcare is ideal for children ages 3–10 and will include crafts, toys, books, stories, and snacks.

Childcare will begin after Family Services and continue through the end of congregational services at the ETHS Cafeteria.

There is no cost, but advance registration through ShulCloud is strongly encouraged. Last-minute additions are also welcome.

🀄️ Mah jongg Madness has taken over recently but our Sisterhood Temple Beth Israel has been hosting their fabulous annual tournament for 7 years! Each kosher gift bag is beautifully filled with fresh challah, apples, honey, grape juice, recipes, Yom Tov candles, holiday blessings and New Year’s greetings.

Dear Friends:

The Temple Beth Israel Book of Remembrance is a significant aid to our observance when we pause to reflect on the memory of family members who have died. The Book of Remembrance provides you with the opportunity to remember your beloved at the time of Yom Kippur and other Yizkor Services throughout the year. Opening this formal printed booklet and reading the names of family members whom you hold dear makes the moments of Yizkor even more meaningful.

Temple Beth Israel sets a minimum of $36.00 to include your loved ones' names in the Book of Remembrance, and urges you to increase this amount if you include several names. Contributions have ranged from $36.00 to $1000. These contributions help to ensure that Temple Beth Israel can continue as a vibrant institution of Jewish living. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.

Please use the link to input the names of the loved ones you want included in the 5787/2026 Book of Remembrance. Please contact the TBI office at 847-675-0951 if you need assistance in filling out this form. In addition, we are mailing a paper version of this form which can be mailed back to the temple office.
