The East Prairie School Educational Foundation is Making a Difference for Students
This , we want to say THANK YOU to all of our supporters!
This Giving Tuesday and holiday season please consider making a donation to the EPS Educational Foundation. Money raised will be invested in programs and equipment to benefit EPS.
Donations to the East Prairie School Educational Foundation can be made to the General Fund which is used to support Grants Awarded to the school and teachers; or the Plotkin Scholarship Fund which is used to support the annual scholarship awarded to a graduate of East Prairie
You inspire us to make a difference funding extra learning opportunities for students! These programs enrich learning and create memories that last forever! We couldn’t do this without your generous support. All money raised goes directly back to student programs.
The Foundation funds over $10,000 per year. This past school year, the Foundation funded:
✅Tuba for band
✅Xylophone for music class
✅The Jungle Book Musical Production
✅Life Jackets for 1st Grade Fishing Trip
✅Magnet Makers 3rd Grade in-school field trip
✅Seat Chair Pockets for 2nd & 3rd Grade
🐸Emily Oaks field trip for Pre-K

We are a week away from “GivingTuesday” - a day that encourages people to do good, unleashing the power of radical generosity. The East Prairie Educational Foundation is one example of a local organization doing good and making a difference right in our own community. The Foundation strives to supplement traditional educational funding and ensure the highest quality educational experiences are available for children in the community. Since May 2000, the Foundation has awarded over $250,000 to our school for programming and equipment. This quarter of a million dollars worth of generosity has funded: programs in science, reading, and the arts, as well as, field trips and cutting edge technology for our school. Additionally, the Foundation sponsors the Plotkin Scholarship Fund, awarding a $1,000 college scholarship to a Nile North senior every year.
