Last week, dozens of volunteers rolled up their sleeves and helped create something bigger than themselves. Meals were prepared, guests were welcomed, dishes were washed, tables were cleaned, and countless acts of kindness happened without fanfare or recognition.

As Paul reminds us in 1 Corinthians 12, many parts come together to form one body. That's exactly what we see every week at The Banquet. Each volunteer plays a different role, but together, you help make our mission possible.

The Banquet is marking 42 years of serving Sioux Falls next Wednesday, but leaders say they’re now facing the challenge of finding enough volunteers this summer.

🚨 SOS: The summer volunteer slump has officially hit The Banquet. 🚨

Vacations, family schedules, summer activities, and shifting routines are all very real this time of year, but so is the need at the table.

We have URGENT open volunteer spots TODAY and several high-need shifts next week for meal prep and serving. Right now, we need helping hands to make sure every meal is prepared, every guest is welcomed, and every shift is covered.

If you have been thinking about volunteering, this is the moment to jump in. If you have served before and can grab an extra shift, we would be so grateful. If you cannot serve, sharing this post helps too.
