Our Youth & Government officers are ready to lead! 🌟

Officers from our Yarrow, Miller and Simi/Conejo delegations recently had the opportunity to attend the YMCA Youth & Government Officers Retreat at YMCA Camp Surf, joining teen leaders from across California for an incredible weekend of leadership, connection and growth.

Throughout the weekend, our officers strengthened their leadership skills, built new friendships and prepared to lead their fellow delegates throughout the upcoming Youth & Government program year.

We are so proud of these young leaders for stepping up, using their voices and helping shape an amazing year ahead for Y&G! 💜

💦 NO COST WATER SAFETY PROGRAM FOR SIMI VALLEY 3RD GRADERS!

The Simi Valley Family YMCA is proud to partner with Simi Valley Unified School District (SVUSD) to offer Safety Around Water (SAW) FREE to third grade students in Simi Valley!

Through this program, students will build essential water safety skills, grow their confidence around water and learn skills that can help keep them safe for a lifetime.

Interested in having your third grader participate? Please reach out to your school’s administration team for information on how to join.

We’re excited to work alongside SVUSD to help more kids in our community feel safe and confident around water! 🏊
