💚Over at START Animal Rescue a Tiny mostly-blind senior chihuahua gets a new home!💚
FOXY was rescued with a bunch of other chihuahuas when their caretaker (a breeder) passed away unexpectedly. She and a handful of the others were transported during a mostly-cat rescue transport mission all the way to Newberg, OR.
Fostering with a START Rescue staff member under the umbrella of , the three (foster mom, START and Hazel’s House) teamed up to get her the care she needed.
At first it was believed she was 3 years old, but turned out, she was a mostly blind senior!
A dental cleaning, spay surgery, and a mass removal were completed and the staff member, and long time fosterer of cats, adopted her!
FOXY is a sweet timid little pumpkin and she is living with two big Pyrenees rescue dog sisters from Texas, two rescued cats sisters (one from Virginia and one from California), 4 hens, one human father, one human sibling, and her foster mom too. She’s settling in well and recovering from her ordeals with lots and lots of rest, broken up by little happy zoomie moments! Welcome to the family FOXY. 🐕💚
