12th District PTA is thrilled to celebrate Maria Steck on her election as California State PTA President-Elect! 💙

Maria’s PTA journey began in 2002 at Ladera Elementary, where she served as VP of Fundraising. She joined the 12th District PTA board in 2002 and continued her incredible service to our district, including joining the District team in 2009 as Celebration Chair.

For more than **12 years, Maria has also served on the California State PTA Board**, bringing her passion, experience, and unwavering commitment to children, families, and the power of PTA to the state level.

We are incredibly proud to call Maria one of our own and excited to see her step into this new leadership role. We know she will lead with heart, integrity, and a deep commitment to serving the children and families of California.

The Simi Valley Police Department will be hosting a Free E-Bike Safety Education Event tomorrow evening, May 26, from 6:00–8:00 pm at the Rancho Santa Susana Community Center. The event will cover current laws and regulations, safe riding tips, and information about different e-bike models. No registration is required.
