Animal Guardians Horse Rescue, Inc. Registered 501c(3) Public Non-Profit Horse Rescue We are a registered 501(c)3 public nonprofit organization for equine welfare.

Our motto is "Joining Hearts & Hands to Hooves". We are a member of the Humane Society of the United States Safe Stalls Network Program and The Homes For Horses Coalition. We are an adoptions partner with the Los Angeles, Ventura, Santa Barbara, Kern, & San Bernadino County Departments of Animal Care & Control and Animal Services. We also adopt horses from the Los Angeles City Department of Animal

Services. We are a satellite rescue, rehabilitation, & retirement program for senior horses with special needs. We also run a small adoptions program when we have an occasional younger and adoptable horse. We have participated in the Humane Society of the United States Forever Foundation Training Program for 3 years in a row, and have saved the lives of over 50 shelter & slaughter auction / abandoned horses over the past 7 years. We are continuously growing and developing, in hopes of purchasing our own large ranch facility to house a Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries accredited equine retirement sanctuary of our own in the near future.
