Big thanks to Clean Fuels Alliance America for the work they’ve been doing in New York on behalf of soybean farmers.

Their advocacy helped move forward an important update to the state’s greenhouse gas accounting approach under the CLCPA, bringing it more in line with widely used lifecycle methods for renewable fuels.

It’s a meaningful step for biodiesel and renewable diesel in a major Northeast market, and we appreciate them continuing to show up for soybean farmers in these policy conversations.

Today is the day! 🎉 Registration is open for the 2026 Summer Crop Summit on August 12!

The Summit is a day to spend with other New York growers, talk through the season, and reconnect with your neighbors. You'll hear from Damian Mason, this year's keynote speaker, as well as a firsthand story on high oleic soybeans in NY.

Afternoon sessions cover farm transition and estate planning, farmer-to-farmer support, and exciting new uses for soybeans. In between, you'll have time to walk the exhibits, grab lunch from the food trucks, and get out in the field. Registration is only $20!

Be sure to stick around for New York Soil Health's Field Day on Thursday, August 13 for another full day of education, networking, outdoor field demos, and on-farm learning. Attend one or both days and take advantage of everything the New York Ag Showcase has to offer in Seneca Falls. 🎉

New York soybeans are creating value right here at home, including on dairy farms! 🐮🌱

A new U.S. Soy feature highlights Half Full Dairy near Warners, NY, where high-oleic soybeans have helped support feed cost savings, milk components, and a stronger bottom line. When the farm first made the switch in 2020, owner AJ Wormuth said it saved $0.37 per cow per day.

That’s the kind of practical, local opportunity we’re excited to see grow: New York soybean farmers producing a crop that can benefit New York dairy farmers.

High-oleic soybeans are more than an emerging market. They are a great example of how soy can strengthen connections across agriculture, support farm profitability, and keep value in our rural communities.
