Nature’s Hard Workers on The ANT this weekend! Educators are on site every weekend through October from 11-3 weather permitting.

🐜 Ants young and old are creating their own construction on the trail today and tomorrow. 🐜....teams are building stone pathways, beds, shelter, and larger structures. Practicing teamwork, and preparing for feeding their colonies. Fun times at the design zone!

Sensory station worm finders explore what it takes to keep nature in balance.

We are excited to announce The ANT’s very first Art Contest!

As we kick off our 5th ANTiversary celebration, we are inviting artists of all ages to join us for a fun and creative adventure inspired by nature. Our theme is “Nature, Where Happiness Grows.”

What does that mean to you? Maybe it’s a favorite place along The ANT, a special animal, a beautiful tree, a moment spent outdoors, or simply the feeling you get when you are surrounded by nature. Let your imagination take the lead and create something that shows us what makes you happy in nature!

Art will be displayed along The ANT on Saturday, October 3, 2026, for hikers and families to enjoy as they explore the trail. So grab your pencils, paintbrushes, crayons, or whatever inspires you, and start creating!

UPDATE FROM THE TRAIL: Thursday, September 3, 2026!

The ANT is OPEN today! All stations are ready for visitors!

Please note: one section of the trail is temporarily blocked off after the Music Circle and before the Cut Thru due to a tree that came down during the storm. 🌳🚧

A huge THANK YOU to our friends at the Humphrey Nature Center for helping us clean up the sidewalk leading to the Trailhead Pavilion! 💚

It truly does take a village, and we are so grateful for the wonderful people who help keep The ANT welcoming, accessible, and ready for our community!
