Weekend recap- another weekend tournament to open the season!

This weekend the Banshees and Celtics hit the road to Charlotte for the annual Connelly Cup.

After some weather delays to start the morning, both teams came out strong with Game 1 victories!

The Celtics continued undefeated through the day, bringing back cup #2 to start the season!

The Banshees meanwhile also went undefeated through most of the day until unfortunately falling in the final to hosts Charlotte.

Thanks to Charlotte GAA for being such great hosts!

Now it’s back to trainings as the focus shifts to our home openers this Saturday, featuring all 4 of our teams!

Weekend recap- another Cleveland 7s in the books!

It was a fantastic day of football, with our returning players getting back in the swing of things and a lot of brand new players getting their first ever game action.

The Banshees and Celtics both submitted 2 teams, with one Banshee and one Celtic team both making it to the finals against Cleveland.

The Celtics came out strong in the Men’s final and didn’t let up, beating Cleveland by a convincing margin and bringing home the first trophy of the 2026 season 🏆
Extra congratulations goes to Nick Hem for being named the men’s tournament MVP.

The Banshees played a tight match against the Cleveland ladies in the first half. They fell behind early in the second and had to fight back, but they fell just short of completing the comeback, losing by just 1 point.

Now back to training to get ready for the first full side games!
