Plans, premiums, and drug coverage can change each year, so it's a good time to make sure your coverage still fits. Join the Village of Takoma Park for a free presentation by Rafael Espinoza of Montgomery County's State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP), which offers unbiased Medicare guidance with no sales pitch. **Urban stormwater is hot, fast, and dirty.** And, as the presenter added, “Just the way we like our dates.” 😂

That memorable lesson came at the dedication of Parkside Plaza’s new bioretention ponds, designed to protect Sligo Creek from parking lot runoff.

We all have a part to play. Montgomery County’s RainScapes program offers rebates for rain gardens, conservation landscaping, rain barrels and other ways to manage stormwater at home.
