The Fuller Center creates partnerships within communities that bring together individuals, churches, schools, businesses and civic organizations to build decent, affordable homes for people who are unable to secure adequate housing by conventional means. The Fuller Center works in collaboration with our community partners, other service-oriented organizations and countless volunteers to build homes. All homeowners work hand-in-hand with volunteers to build their own homes, which are then sold to them on terms they can afford, based on the Biblical idea of no-profit, no-interest loans. With some smaller renovation projects, an innovative payment program called The Greater Blessing Program is utilized, whereby recipients promise to repay the loan amount without signing an actual mortgage agreement. They decide the monthly amount they can afford to repay and the period of time that it will take to repay the cost of repairs. It is a leap of faith in the basic goodness of humankind and is proving to be very successful. We are committed to good stewardship, and work hard to keep our administrative costs low and to select our recipient families wisely. This helps to ensure that the vast majority of your tax-deductible gifts go toward building and repairing homes for those in need.

What an amazing HEIRS Workshop we had this Saturday at The Fuller Center for Housing of Northwest Louisiana! 🏡❤️

A special thank you to Shelvia Davis, attorney with United Title of Louisiana, for sharing such valuable information on wills, successions, and heirs property and answering so many important questions. Our attendees truly did not want her to stop because the information was just that good!

Thank you also to Derek Allum with United Way of Northwest Louisiana for an excellent discussion on financial management and budgeting, and to Terrence Neal with Primerica for educating our participants about life insurance and touching on the importance of homeowners insurance.

We are grateful to everyone who attended and to our community partners who helped make this workshop such a success.

This is only the beginning! 👏🏾 Be on the lookout for more Fuller Center for Housing of Northwest Louisiana classes and workshops coming in 2027.

Our HEIRS Workshop has been moved to Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

You’ll still get valuable information on wills, successions, budgeting, financial management, homeowners insurance, and life insurance — and participants can get a FREE will and/or succession completed by a Louisiana attorney.

Let’s not keep putting important family business off. Handle it before the year ends. Protect your home, your family, and your legacy.
