This week the East Shreveport Rotary group blessed two of our families with a large food donation. Tammy and Jim delivered the food that was shipped specifically for the individual families’ needs. Thank you to the East Shreveport Rotary group for serving families in our community!❤️

Catholic Charities USA isn’t a top down organization - it is a network of smart, caring people making a difference in their communities. Executive Director Diane Libro spent a few days in Richmond, VA, learning from all of them at the Catholic Charities annual gathering. She met author and scholar Seth Kaplan who challenged us to use our churches and agencies to build strong neighborhoods.

Gabriel’s Closet had an informative class on car seat safety this afternoon and were the first to use our NEW classroom furniture!

We are so excited to be able to have new and improved tables and chairs in our classroom space that provides needed financial and parenting education to our community.

A special thanks goes to Huntington National Bank for providing a grant that helped us purchase this furniture, and to riverpkchurch for volunteering time to assemble the tables this weekend. It takes community and we are so grateful for ours!🤍
